Setting/Disabling the Supervisor Password
The su per vi sor pass word prevents unauthorized access to the ac-
counting functions.
1. Press Options.
2. Press Page Down twice.
3. Select LockCode/Passwords.
4. Select Su per vi sor Password.

NOTE: If there is an existing lock code, you are prompted to
key in the 4-digit code.

A. To disable the password:
Select Disable password. At the Supervisor Password has
been disabled message, select Continue.
B. To change the password:
Select Change password. At the prompt, key in a new pass-
word (4 digits) and select Continue. Re-enter the new pass-
word again to confirm and select Continue. At the Supervisor
Password has been enabled message, select Continue.
6. Press Clear (back arrow key) twice to return to Options menu.

If you have an existing supervisor password:
You can either disable the password or change the password.
5. If there is no existing supervisor password:
At the prompt, key in a supervisor password (4 digits) and select
Continue. Re-enter the password again to confirm and select
Continue. At the Supervisor Password has been enabled mes-
sage, select Continue.
