6 • Adding Postage/Connecting to Data Center

1. Make sure your machine can make connection to the Data Center.
2. Press Options.
3. Press Page Down to the third screen.
4. Select "Connect-Data Center".

5. Select "Uploads & Downloads".
6. The system connects to the Pitney Bowes Data Center (this may
take a few moments). Various screens display, letting you know
the status of the process.
At Mailing Machine
Downloading Files or Updating System
Use this option when you need to manually:
• Restart an interrupted download
• Download postal inscriptions, envelope ads, system updates, rate
updates, or updating PC Meter Connect™ software

NOTE: Your system must be connected to the Pitney Bowes
Data Center to download files or update the system.
At a PC Using PC Meter Connect™ (Enhanced Version)
Select the Updates tab, then click on Update Software. The pro-
gram will check and inform you if you need any updates. When
prompted, click Continue. When it is finished, click Done.
