Getting Help
There may be times when you need help to solve a prob lem, or you
may want more in for ma tion about how your mail ing system works.

Before you contact us, please read the troubleshooting information
in this chap ter
. In many cases, it can help you resolve the prob lem.
Also, you can often restore normal operation by powering down the
unit and then powering it on. On the DM100i and DM200L, this is done
by disconnecting the power cord and reconnecting it. On the DM125
and DM225, simply use the power switch on the rear of the unit.
If you need to call, please have the following in for ma tion at hand:
Model Identification: See page v and Chapter 2, Getting to Know
Your System
Serial number: See the back of the system.
Nature of problem: What happens and when does it happen? Did
the machine display an error mes sage?
The steps you've already taken to solve the problem and the results.
Messages on the LCD Display
From time to time your system will display an alert or error message.
An alert tells you that something needs at ten tion; an error message
usually tells you about a system con di tion you can fix. In rare in-
stances you may have to call for service or assistance (see page v).

of the machine, is turned on.

• power cord is not connected to a

or surge protector
