Device List Screen Audio USL, Inc. – JSD-100 QSC / Dolby Media Server GDC Digital Doremi / Dolby Projector Barco Series II / Christie/ NEC / Automation Christie ACT/Integ-jnior Audio The USL, Inc. JSD-100 Cinema Audio Processor touchscreen shown contains user controls. These options are the same as those on the front panel of the JSD-100. This touchscreen allows the user access to the front panel controls via the RTH-100 Handheld Remote Controller.
Projector The PROJECTOR touchscreen contains common projectionist controls to remotely adjust the projector’s lamp, dowser, lens movement, focus, and zoom settings. Media From the MEDIA touchscreen you can control the media server. This allows the content playing to be paused / un-paused as well as being able to skip forward and backwards in increments of five seconds. The BACK and FORWARD buttons allow the user to skip back to the beginning or to the next playlist item.
Macros Automation devices are configured with predefined command scripts that are used to control various types of operations in an auditorium. A script is executed by sending a defined command cue (a macro) which is stored in the RTP-100 Wireless Server Module and activated by touching a button from the MACROS or other touchscreens. Note: The buttons on the MANAGER touchscreen are activated by touching a macros button that may be customized via the SETUP button.
Configuring Cinema Devices Screen Setup The SETUP button is used to open the configuration setup screen for the selected items available for screens, devices, macros, and captions. When the SCREEN MANAGER is selected and the SETUP is activated, the configuration settings screen is displayed. For each screen number / auditorium, a configuration may be set. There is ability to enter a name for a given auditorium via the configuration screen.
Device Setup Once a device is selected for configuration, touch the SETUP button located in the lower right corner of the touchscreen. Make needed changes by selecting the device type, the IP Address, or the port and then touch the SUBMIT button located towards the lower midsection of the touchscreen. Note that some devices require a user name and pass-code to access their device (equipment). Each device has a SETUP touchscreen view.
Note: The Automation and Macros Modules have an associated “Command Setup” touchscreen that is accessible by first touching the “Devices” and then touching the device to configure item. As shown below the Automation device was selected and the “Setup” touch button is used to access the automation commands. Each command is configured with button text and device command. A colon is used to delineate the input fields for user interface and command processing.
