CONNECTION CONTROL
This is where you adjust your modem’s
connection and transmission settings.
Click Connection Control to bring up this
screen.
In the upper left hand corner of this screen,
you will find the current Connection Control
settings.
Use the “Connections Control” screen to
configure the following settings:
♦ DATA TERMINAL READY (DTR)
♦ ERROR CORRECTION
♦ DATA COMPRESSION
♦ CARRIER DETECT
For detailed information about these settings,
refer to the “Glossary” or the “Technical Quick
Reference” sections of this manual.
TIP: On external modems,
receiving a Data Terminal Ready signal
causes the TR light to light up.
