Access Control
The MAC Filtering feature of the Wireless 54Mbps ADSL Router allows
you to control access to your network for up to 32 clients based on
the MAC (Media Access Control) address of the client machine. This
ID is unique to each network adapter. If the MAC address is listed in
the table, then the access right of the client machine is controlled by
the Access Rule.
Parameter Description
ESSID Extended Service Set ID. The ESSID must be the same on the
Wireless 54Mbps ADSL Router and all of its wireless clients.
ESSID Broadcast Enable or disable the broadcasting of the SSID.
Wireless Mode This device supports both 11g and 11b wireless networks. Make
your selection depending on the type of wireless network that
you have.
Channel The radio channel used by the wireless router and its clients to
communicate with each other. This channel must be the same on
the Wireless 54Mbps ADSL Router and all of its wireless clients.
The Wireless 54Mbps ADSL Router will automatically assign itself
a radio channel, or you may select one manually.
