Power Consumption
Operating Mode
Description
Alarm Mode
Low power consumption mode, the only feature which is available in this mode is the
alarm wake up.
When the alarm clock is set for the modem with ALL of the following conditions:
• before the alarm time is up
• with the ON/OFF signal pulled to GND
• with AT+CPOF entered from a computer that is connected to the modem
Serial Port Auto Shut
Down Feature
The serial link can be shut down when there is no activity between the DTE and the
modem.
This auto shut down feature can be enabled by AT command. Refer to section
3.1.2.4 Serial Port Auto Shut Down Feature for more information on this feature.
FLASH LED
Activated/Deactivated
The modem Flash LED can be enabled or disabled by AT command. Refer to
section for more information on this feature.
