An Overview of NPC’s Windows-Based Options
Option
Purpose
NCSIPort
and
NCSIPort 95
These COM Port re-directors re-route Windows
communications calls to the NCSI driver. This
allows 16-bit Windows applications that are not
NETServer aware to access the NCSI interface.
NCSIPort 95 supports 16 and 32-bit applications.
Windows Btty
Allows you to connect to the first available idle
device dial-out port and issue AT commands to
that modem or dial-out port.
Uninstall
Un-installs, or removes, the Client software from
your Windows environment and any related files.
Monitor
Lets you
