Modem setup configuration string
The following AT commands are used to set up a US Robotics 56k modem as either a transmitting modem
(attached to a PC) or a receiving modem (inside a sign):

0 1 Distinctive ring enabled.
1 2 Speakerphone connect message override (voice products only).
2 4 Disable Digital Line Guard (56K internal faxmodems only).
3 8 Message waiting (voice products only).
4 16 Reserved.
5 32 Reserved.
6 64 Reserved.
7 128 Reserved.

when a break is
received, data

destroyed.
However, the
break is not sent
to the other
modem.)

written to NVRAM
