Getting Ready
13 Press ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the CPR TIME 2 screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are 0, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180, and 999).
14 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the PULSE PROMPT screen. (This screen
appears only on AEDs distributed in the English language):
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are 1 or 2).
15 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the CPSS DURING CPR screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are ON/OFF).
If the LIFEPAK 500 AED does not have an
ANALYZE button, this screen will not be displayed.
16 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the MOTION DETECTION screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are ON/OFF).
17 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the ASYSTOLE DETECTOR screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are OFF or 4 to 60 minutes in one-minute
increments).
Note: Pressing
▲ after the highest setting will display OFF.
18 If the LIFEPAK 500 AED is equipped with the audio recording capability, press
ANALYZE (or blank
“menu” button) to advance to the
AUDIO RECORDING screen:
• Press the
▲ button to turn the option ON or OFF.
If the LIFEPAK 500 AED is not equipped with audio recording capability, this screen will not be
displayed.
19 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the PAPER SIZE screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are 8 1/2 x 11 and A4).
20 Press
ANALYZE (or blank “menu” button) to advance to the INCIDENT ID screen:
• Press the
▲ button to change the setting (choices are ON/OFF).
