The D’MAND® Hot Water Delivery System is an integral part of the Uponor plumbing layout, which is
designed to maximize energy and water savings, minimize connections, and reduce hot water delivery
times. The D’MAND hot water delivery system provides two different system pumps: Model 100 and Model
200. The Model 100 supports plumbing systems with the farthest fi xture less than 100 feet from the pump
location. The Model 200 supports plumbing systems with the farthest fi xture more than 100 feet from the
pump location. The D’MAND system requires either an Activation Button or Motion Sensor to activate
the system.

The D’MAND Activation Button is used in areas where the homeowner wants to select when the D’MAND
Hot Water Delivery System is activated. Two-wire, low-voltage thermostat wire connects the activation
button to the control on the D’MAND pump.
