Freight Policy
LTL and Truckload Shipments
Orders over $15,000 net will ship prepaid within 5 business days. Uponor will accept purchase orders from a maximum of four different branches to
qualify for prepaid freight if the following conditions are met:
•
The orders must be received by Uponor at the same time.
•
Orders must ship on the same day.
•
Orders must specify that they are piggyback orders when they are placed and state which orders they will ship with.
•
Uponor will not be responsible for organizing piggyback orders.
•
Uponor will not hold orders while waiting for other branches to place their orders.
•
Prepaid is a service and benefit offered at Uponor's discretion, therefore 5 business days applies to all prepaid orders.
All rush orders will be shipped collect via your specified carrier.
Orders less than $15,000 net will ship collect within 5 business days via your specified carrier.
Courier Shipments
Courier shipments (weighing less than 250lbs) will ship within 3 business days. Customer must assign carrier.
Rush Shipments
Orders will ship the same day if the following conditions are met.
•
Purchase orders must be stamped rush.
•
Customer must assign carrier and pay freight.
•
Shipment must weigh less than 250lbs.
•
Purchase order must be received by Uponor prior to:
– 11 am EST for shipments out of Brampton.
– 1 pm CST for shipments out of Calgary.
•
Orders received after cut off times will ship next business day.
•
Order must meet $100 net minimum requirement.
Requests to rush orders over 250lbs will be considered if they do not interfere with our standard service commitments. Approval must come from
the Distribution Manager. Please note that rush orders are not prepaid freight. If the prepaid order is required prior to the 5 business days the
freight will be charged collect via the wholesales choice carrier. Prepaid is a service and benefit offered at Uponor's discretion, therefore 5 business
days apply to all prepaid orders.
Note* There is a $100 net minimum order requirement for invoicing purposes to all stocking distributors.
