The display is blank or dim when the
energy meter is unplugged from the
outlet.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Solution
Replace old batteries with fresh batteries.
Battery type = button-cell (AG13 or Lr44)
Note that it is normal for the LCD screen to
appear blank when the unit is not in use.
When the unit is unplugged for sometime, the
display will turn off automatically. Simply press
any button to activate the LCD display.
If the energy meter shows an abnormal
display or if the buttons no longer
function (i.e. unit becomes “frozen”)
Press the RESET button to return the unit to
normal operation or remove the cell batteries
for 3 minutes, then re-insert. The energy meter
should resume normal function but please note
that all previous memory and settings will be
lost.
