ofswitchconnectsarexed,thatis,theinterfacethateachdevice
MACaddressinswitchMACaddresstablecorrespondsisxed,
thenmakethemacaddressthatlearnsfromportandwilllearn
fromportpermanenttopreventMACdeceivingformatnetwork
attack.Evenifafterdeviceisrebooted,theseMACaddressesstill
canbeused.Ofcourse,thepremiseisthatautomaticwriting
functionisopenedorwriteoperationisimplemented.
MACaddresspermanentmeansmakingdynamicMACaddressof
correspondingportinMACaddresstablepermanent.Afterthis
conguration,theMACaddresslearnsfromthecorrespondingport
canconverttopermanentautomatically.TheseMACaddresses
don’tjoinagingafterconvertingandcanbesavedintodisk.Mean-
whileifdataframewiththissourceaddressoccursonotherports
switchwon’tlearnagain.TheMACpermanententrynumberislim-
ited.ThereforewhenthenewlylearnedMACentryonportcan’t
continueconverting,alarmwilloccurandsubsequentMACwillstill
behandledasdynamicentry.Whenthisfunctionisdisabled,all
MACentriesconvertedbythiswayonthisportwillbedeleted.
TocongureMACaddresspermanent,performthefollowingcom-
mands.
