lateddevicesportthatopensUDLDfunctionreceivesthisHello
packetandsendsanEchopacketback.Fromthepointofviewof
thisdevice,thatreceivingthisEchopacketmeansthatthetwode-
vicesareinterconnectionandtheneighborrelationshipwithpeer
devicehasestablishedonthisdeviceandsendsEchopacketback.
AfterthepeerreceivingEchopacket,therelationshiponthetwo
devicesisestablished.
Afterbothsidesestablishtheneighborrelationship,senddetection
Hellopacketatregulartimetodetectifthedetectionlinkworks
normally.WhenreceivingtheHellodetectionpacketsentfrom
neighbor ,updatelocalstorageneighborbufferinformationandre-
setneighborouttime.Ifexceedneighboragingtimeandstillnot
receivingHellodetectionpacket,considerthatlinkisonabnormal
workingconditionandneeddifferentworkingmodestohandle.
UDLDhastwoworkingmodes:ordinarymodeandaggressive
mode.Inordinarymode,onlywhenpacketsarereceivedand
linkisveriedtobethroughinuni-direction,thisinterfacecanbe
down;incasecorrespondingpacketsarenotreceivedorlinkfails
tobeveriedthroughinuni-direction,thisoperationwillnotbe
conductedontheinterface;Inaggressivemode,aslongthatlink
failstobeveriedtobethroughbidirectionally,theinterfacewill
bedown.Thecommonpointofthetwomodesisthatinanycir-
cumstance,aslongasthelinkisnotveriedtoworknormally,
printalarm.

interfacedown.
