27. Check the plug and lead cable regularly for
wear and tear. If the lead cable or other parts
show damage, please send the appliance to
our after-sales service for inspection and
repair (for address, see warranty terms).
Unauthorised repairs can constitute serious
risks for the user and void the warranty.
28. If the lead cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or its after-
sales service or a similarly qualified person
in order to avoid any hazard.
BeFore FIrSt uSe
1. Remove all packaging materials and any
transport safety devices. Keep packaging
material out of reach of children. Danger of
suffocation!
2. After washing your hair, dry it thoroughly
with a towel.
3. Best results are achieved with dry hair. Dry
your hair well using a hair dryer, if necessary.
4. Brush your hair until it falls loosely.
5. The appliance is equipped with a locking
device. On the end of the appliance there
is a small hook. Pushing this hook up allows
you to open the appliance. To lock the
appliance, keep it shut and push the hook
downwards.
oPeratIon
The plates of the hair straightener are ceramic-coated to protect your hair and leave it shiny after
straightening. Nevertheless you should not straighten your hair too often. Select the adequate
temperature for your hair type, as too high temperatures may burn your hair. This applies especially
to colour treated or otherwise chemically treated hair (e.g. perms). In this case, select a lower
temperature adjustment.
Before straightening your hair please do not use any chemical hair-styling products like hair spray to
avoid burning your hair.
