Beim Kochen mit Induktion wird nicht das Kochfeld selbst erhitzt, sondern der Boden des darauf stehenden Kochgeschirrs, sofern dieses ferromagnetisch ist. Die Wärmeerzeugung erfolgt durch Wirbelströme, die durch ein magnetisches Wechselfeld unterhalb der Glasplatte erzeugt werden.

MODALITÀ DI FUNZIONAMENTO 1. Cuocendo su un piano di cottura a induzione è possibile risparmiare fino al 50 % di corrente. Il tempo di cottura si riduce fino al 30 %. 2. Durante la cottura con il sistema a induzione non si riscalda il piano di cottura, bensì il recipiente su di esso collocato, a condizione che sia ferromagnetico. Il riscaldamento avviene per mezzo di un campo elettromagnetico alternato situato sotto la piastra in vetro. 3.
