Replacing the filter
It is important to pay attention to filter replacement, as
the filter’s primary job is to protect the membrane. Check
that the container is not leaking after filter replacement,
and perform follow-up checks.
Replace the filter when:
the filter light flashes or lights
the water purifier emits a noise
when the flow is reduced by half.
1. Check that the water purifier is in standby mode.
Press and hold in the service button, using a
pen, until the service light comes on (approx.
6 seconds). Release the button. The lights on
the faucet now flashes rapidly for 15 seconds.
This procedure will prevent flushing from
taking place during filter replacement.
2. Open the front cover using the grip, as
illustrated.
3. Lift the lock plate on the filter cover and
unscrew the container. Use the supplied
filter spanner if necessary. Remember that
the container is full of water and that it can
overflow!
4. Remove the old filter.
5. Wipe up any spillage on the base plate.
6. Clean the filter container with a brush and
water.
7. Insert the new filter with the pin pointing up.
Fill up the container with water to the lowest
thread.
8. Screw back the filter container. Tighten the
filter container until the locking plate clicks
into the groove. Do not tighten any more.
9. Close the front cover.
10. Reset the filter indicator by pressing in the
filter button and keeping it pressed until the
filter light goes out (approx. 3 seconds).
Use a pen.
The filter replacement is now complete and the water
purifier is ready to be used.
Filter replacement before indication:
If the filter is replaced before the light indicates that repla-
cement is necessary, reset in accordance with point 10.
The only difference is that the filter light first comes on
and then go out.
