Storage
The water purifier should be put into storage if:
● it is going to be disconnected from water and
electricity for an extended period (1 week or more).
● it is not going to be used to produce purified water
for a period of 4 months or longer.
Preserving agents can be ordered from your dealer,
see «Consumables».
The preserving agent must be kept out of
reach of children! Wash your hands after
using it.
1. Check that the water purifier is in standby
mode.
2. Close the shut-off valve on the feed water
connection.
3. Disconnect the feed water hose from the
shut-off valve.
4. Unscrew the filter container in accordance
with «Replacing the filter», points 2 - 5.
Remove the filter and discard it (should not
be saved).
5. Put the filter container back in accordance
with «Replacing the filter», points 8 - 9.
6. Mix 2 litres of preserving agent and 2 litres
of water in a bucket.
7. Insert the feed water hose in the mixture,
making sure that the mouth of the hose is
constantly below the surface level of the
liquid, see fig. E.
8. Start producing pure water. The water
purifier now draws the mixture into it. Stop
the production of pure water once all the
liquid has been fed into the water purifier.
Note! The noise produced by the water
purifier changes during the first few
seconds.
9. Disconnect the feed water and pure water
hose from the water purifier.
10. Pull out the plug.
The water purifier is put into storage and can be kept
in this way without the risk of freezing.
On reinstallation, the water purifier should:
● stand somewhere where the temperature is above
+5° C for at least 48 hours.
● be supplied with a new filter, see «Replacing the
filter».
● be flushed in order to wash out the preserving agent,
in accordance with «Flushing».
Don’t forget to insert a new filter in the
water purifier.
