2.7 Serial ports
The analyzer has the following serial ports:
A female RS-232 serial port for data acquisition and control via a host computer.
A male RS-232 serial port for connection to an external printer (9600 baud, 8 data bits,
1 stop bit, no parity).
A USB port for data transfer via a memory stick.
An Ethernet
®
10/100 base-T interface port for communication via Modbus
®
protocol.
For information about using Modbus protocol, see Modbus Protocol, page 143.
All serial ports are internally wired. Table 2-11 lists specifications for serial
communication.
Figure 2-16 illustrates the RS-232 interface 9-pin connector.
