10) When the suitability test is completed, the test summary dialog box appears, with
the results of the test and a notification of whether the test failed or passed. The
results also appear on the printout if a printer is attached. See Figure 6-11, page 94.
Touching the forward icon takes you to the run again dialog box (Figure 6-13,
page 95). If the test failed or you have rejected the test results, at the run again
dialog box, touch the checkmark icon to run the test again or the cancel icon to
cancel the run.
NOTE
Immediately upon completion of the test the bottles are backflushed and allowed to
equilibrate to ambient pressure. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE BOTTLES UNTIL
THE BACKFLUSH AND PRESSURE EQUALIZATION IS COMPLETE.
6.9 Grab sample
CAUTION
Potential puncture hazard! Contact with the exposed needle could cause serious
injury. Use extreme care when installing and removing the sample bottles.
The grab sample function enables analysis of samples from various locations. Up to three
repetitions from a single sample may be analyzed to arrive at an average value. Grab samples
are run using a standard water sample bottle and do not require the use of an RFID tagged
bottle.
1) At the home screen, touch the << icon to open the sliding toolbar, then touch the
bottles icon in the toolbar, or touch the bottles icon in the lower left corner of the
screen.
2) Touch the grab sample button in the bottle mode dialog box. See Figure 6-1,
page 86.
3) The OASIS door will unlock for five seconds. If the door is not opened within five
seconds, the unlock icon can be used to unlock the door manually.
4) Install the grab sample bottle following the instructions as shown in the load bottles
dialog box and ensuring that you place the grab sample bottle in the correct
position. See Figure 6-20. From left:
• Bottle 1 = empty
• Bottle 2 = sample bottle
