Control larger spaces with ease
The TRF-UZ1 is a small device that connects over the local
area network via CAT5 wiring to the URC MRX-10 controller
to extend the range of communication for certain URC
components. For instance, if the MRX-10 is located in a
rack far away from the main control areas in your building,
you can place the TRF-UZ1 in a more centralized area,
so that URC remotes, advanced thermostats and other
compatible URC RF products can communicate eectively.
This allows for control of components from anywhere
within the building.
Go even farther with URC
URC has a variety of solutions to accommodate the
largest of installations. If the range for control needs to
be extended even further to accommodate your space,
URC ZR series repeaters can be used as well. Only one
TRF-UZ1 can be installed per URC Total Control system,
but additional repeaters allow you to expand the system
as needed to get what you want – where and when you
want it.
Your system controller and electronics can live anywhere within
the local area network while you’re free to take control anywhere
in the building.
