PIP Control Menu
The Picture in Picture (PIP) control menu allows full flexibility in viewing 2 sources at the
same time. Keep in mind some limitations were noted under PIP Modes in the main text.
Choose a viewing source, such as S-Video, and then
move to enable and turn it on.
The PIP window appears. Position it as desired on
the screen and/or adjust the size. It is possible to
shape the picture by increasing only one dimension
of the window such as increasing the horizontal size
and not increasing the vertical size. If the application
changes the main screen source, the PIP settings will
not be saved. The only exception to this is when a
user invokes a PIP SWAP using the direct IR key
code or the RS232 command.
Use the up or down arrows to select and change
settings from the factory default.
FlexiScreen Menu
FlexiScreen
TM
is applicable to all input menus during a valid source. The FlexiScreen
TM
format refers to the active picture size and position on the screen.
Preset SRC Formats:
Acadamy Open Matte
Super 35 VistaVision
Panavision Panavision
Technorama Custom
The FlexiScreen menu allows the application to
adjust the screen size so that the images fit the entire
screen or even go beyond the screen.
All of these attributes of the screen can be varied. The
ASPECT can be set to 16:9, 4:3 or 1:1. The source
(SRC) can be set to any number of preset dimensions
or can be set to custom as is indicated here.
If any of the dimensioning selections are changed, the
SRC automatically changes to custom. Below and left
is a list of preset SRC dimension names.
Use the up or down arrows to select and change
settings from the factory default.
