Selecting a New DEVICE Changes All Button Commands Instantly Basic Setup The MX-350 can operate ten different devices even though it is only one remote control. Let’s try it now! In some systems, it is the TV speakers that make the sound, so you would use the TV device on the MX-350 to raise and lower the volume. In another system, it might be a surround sound receiver and speakers that control the sound, so you would use the MX-350’s AUDIO device to adjust the volume.

Each press of the PAUSE button increases the delay by a half second. Erasing the Entire MX-350 Recalling Pre-Programmed Settings To erase EVERYTHING, press and hold both the MAIN and the STOP buttons for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the RESET screen appears. Press the SURE button to erase all of your settings and return to the factory default setup.

It transmits very powerful line-of-sight output using infrared light commands (invisible to the naked eye). When you point the MX-350 at the components, expect the range to be between 30 and 50 feet. When the remote is not pointed in the general direction of the components, the range will vary (depending on reflective surfaces, lighting, etc.).

The only setting that affects operation with an MRF-100 is the RF/IR setting (to operate, the MX-350 must be set to IR/RF or RF- it will not operate the MRF-100 in IR mode). The MX-350 will operate with an MRF-250 or MRF-350 base station set to ID#0 with the factory default settings.
