Attention!
Danger of chemical burns when
testing battery uids. Wear pro-
tective clothing, protective gloves
and safety goggles when handling
battery acid.
Avoid contact of the skin, eyes
or clothes with the acid, rinse off
affected skin with lots of water.
Then visit a doctor/eye specialist
immediately.
• If the eyes are affected, ush the
eyes – for at least 15 minutes
– with the lids open and with
lukewarm, fl owing water from the
inside to the outside.
• Clean the refractometer thoroughly
after every use.
• The refractometer must not be
subjected to extreme temperatures,
strong mechanical loads, direct
sunshine or high humidity.
• The refractometer is not a toy, keep
it out of the reach of children.
• Ensure that you are not subject to
any impacts or similar during the
use of the refractometer as this
can lead to dangerous eye injuries.
• Do not touch the lens of the
refractometer with the ngers!
