Section 9: PBX
9-17
S - source digit(s)
E - target extension digit(s)
L - line (trunk) digit(s)
? – Caller ID digit(s)
See the string examples below to get a good idea of how these pro-
tocols are set up.
DTMF String Examples:
***4EEE (No Answer) Action
No answer from "EEE" destination extension number.
e
maGEN
expects ***4 and three extension digits.
If the particular PBX has extension numbers of four digits, you
should enter “EEEE” rather than “EEE” for three digit extension.
***3EEE (Busy) Action
Busy at "EEE" destination extension.
5#SSS#EEE (No Answer) Action
"SSS" (source/calling station) called "EEE" (destination/called
station) and there was no answer.
e
maGEN
ignores the source, which normally would be a C.O.
line, and performs the action on the "EEE" destination station
Any PBX protocol format can be implemented for efficient full inte-
gration with the PBX/KTS.
