9.9 PBX TIMERS
Flash &
This field determines the time in milliseconds for

maGEN
to use for
a flash designated with this symbol (the ampersand) while process-
ing a digit sequence.
Pause ,
This field determines the time in milliseconds for
e
maGEN
to use for
a pause designated with this “,” (comma) in a digit sequence.
Extended pause ;
This field determines by the number of commas how long a flash is
defined for “;”. In the field above,
e
maGEN
is told how long in milli-
seconds each comma is.
Wait for dial tone
This field determines how long
e
maGEN
will wait for a valid dial
tone on a call-out operation. If a valid dial tone is not received during
this time period,
e
maGEN
will abandon the current operation, wait
for the time period programmed in PBX Parameters -> Timers ->
No dial tone delay field, and then re-try the call-out operation.
