EnableScheduledEqualizationcheckbox. Some batteries require equalization
to be applied periodically. Check this check box to enable this feature. Further
parameters must be set up to use this feature correctly.
EqualizationVoltage. The voltage to which the rectiers will be raised to achieve
the boost/equalize function.
Equalizefor. The equalization will operate for this length of time (in minutes)
before dropping back to the oat voltage (with temperature compensation if enabled).
Numberofdaysbetweenequalizations. Set this parameter to determine how often
the equalization function will operate (in days).
Timeof day forequalization. Use the spinners to set the time of day that the
equalization function will begin. This is usually chosen to be an off peak time.
StopEqualizationifchargecurrentexceeds. The equalization or boost will be
terminated if the battery charge current exceeds this value. Equalization will also
stop if the battery temperature exceeds 38°C. (Fixed threshold).
Buttons StartEqualization and StopEqualization may be used to manually start and
stop the equalization process. Once started, the equalization will stop automatically if
any of the above parameters are exceeded (equalization time, equalization maximum
current, battery temperature above 38°C).
Note that it is necessary to enter the administrator or user password to manual start
or stop equalization.
