Pause all schedules in PQ Secure in order not to interfere with next section

Using PQSchedule Service Control: stop the PQ Schedule Service and exit any running PQ
Schedule.

Uninstall PQ Schedule

Run DBWizard (db version: _________ )
If DBWizard fails to update manually run the scripts in section 3.3.3.1 or 3.3.3.2

If the server runs with Windows authentication, use the following script in the stated order:
Users_winauth.sql
tables_permissions.sql
procedures.sql
procedures_winauth.sql
systemusers.sql

If the server runs with Mixed mode and SA login, use the following script in the stated
order:
users.sql
tables_permissions.sql
procedures.sql
procedures_sqlauth.sql
systemusers.sql

Install the new PQ Schedule (Version: _________________)

Start PQSM by “Run as administrator”.
Stop the PQSM service.

Unistall + install PQSM (Version: ___________ )

Start PQSM by “Run as administrator” to be able to make changes in settings.
Uninstall the PQSM Service using the PQSM Service control console.
Make all settings including SMTP and test sending emails.
Check the checkbox for windows authentication if that method is used to log into the
database.

Start PQSM Service Control: install service and start it. If PQSM runs with windows
authentication the user that runs the service must be administrator locally on the machine.

Unpause all schedules in PQ Secure.

Maintain database

Check time zone in PQ Secure.

Check response times and check that index works.

Make settings for recovery model simple (database properties, options) to avoid the
transaction log growing too large.
