4.4.5 Set Low Pressure Threshold
To read the current Low Pressure Threshold value or change the value, select item “5” (Set Low
Pressure Threshold) from the Main Configuration Menu and press <Enter>. The following screen
showing the current value will appear:
The factory default setting is 45 psig. When the brake pipe pressure drops below this value, the CDU
will indicate a Low Pressure ALARM as a warning to the locomotive operator. To change the low
pressure setting, type in the new threshold value and press <Enter>.
To return to the Main Configuration Menu, press <Esc>.
