9 Loosen (do not remove) the two nuts on the bolts securing the left side of the print head/paper

stock guide rail assembly.

10 To free up the Thumb Spindle on the back panel of the printer, loosen the screw securing the

Spindle Lock. Rotate the Spindle Lock to an up position and retighten the screws.

11 Remove the print head/paper stock guide rail assembly by sliding it toward the back of the unit

and lift it up and out.
