Coefficients a and b were determined for each pump
head. They are manufacturing constants attached to
the parameter Head Size, a second ‘Setup’ parameter
entered by the user.
All of these factors taken together allow the 305 to
deliver a highly accurate flow rate, independent of
the pump head size, type of liquid and pressure.
