This figure illustrates a typical gateway video call. The video conference can be initiated at endpoint A in
a private domain, for example, UNIFY-enterprise.com, or at endpoint B in a partner company
domain, for example, polycom.com.
The incoming call from B to A in the private domain is established by dialing in the format
[e-mail], for example, [e-mail]. The outgoing
call from A to B is established by dialing the gateway number, for example, 99 plus the domain name of
the called partner, 99 13131. After receiving the number, the gateway deletes 99 from the string and
adds @polycom.com. The called party is addressed by [e-mail].
