2nd & 3rd CHANNEL OUTPUTS
Your Alarm brain has two extra channels to
control optional accessories.
The 2nd channel output is commonly used to
"POP" the boot.
With the optional boot release kit fitted;
1. Press Remote Control button #2 for longer
than 3 seconds
2. The alarm disarms, the boot pops open
and the doors will unlock (if the optional
central locking is fitted)
Notes :
l When you close the boot, you will need to
press button #1 to re-arm the alarm.
l Boot release will not work if the ignition is
on (Ask your Dealer for details.)
The 3rd channel output can be used to ;
l Switch on the parking lights (vehicle
locator)
l Sound the horn without activating the
alarm.
Note : To take advantage of any of the above
features, additional relays and connections to
the vehicle will need to be made.
SECOND CAR OPERATION
With this feature, your remote controls can operate a UNIDEN compatible alarm in another car.
Operation for both cars is the same, except that the functions of button #1 and button #2 are
reversed in the second car. (Optional — ask your dealer.)
POWER DOOR LOCKS
Your alarm can automatically lock the doors
when armed, and unlock the doors when
disarmed. (Optional central locking accesso-
ries may be required)
q Alarm Set For Passive Arming - The
doors lock 30 seconds after the last door
is closed. (Be careful not to leave the keys
and remote controls in the vehicle,
though!).
q Alarm Set For Active Arming - The
doors lock and unlock any time remote
control button #1 is pressed. For extra
security, they also lock automatically if the
alarm is triggered. (Exception — See
EMERGENCY CALL FOR HELP, page 7.)
IGNITION CONTROLLED DOOR LOCK
Your alarm can automatically lock the doors when you turn the ignition ON and unlock when
you turn the ignition OFF. This is considered a very important feature in areas where 'car jacking'
is a common occurrence.
This is a Programmable Feature. The Factory default setting is OFF — please ask your dealer if
you wish to use this feature.
