Mode:

lD is an immediate command that sends a special identification
packet.
The lD command allows
you
to
send a
final identification
packet
when
you
take
your
station off-the-air.
(HlD
must also be set
OM. The
identification consists of a Ul-frame,
with
its data
field
containing
your
MYALIAS
(if
it's entered),
MYCALL, and the word
"digipeater".
The
lD
packet
is
sent only
if
your
PK-96 has digipeated
any trans-
missions since the
last
automatic
identification.

ON The PK-96 ignores all LF characters sent by
your
computer.
OFF The PK-96 transmits all LF characters sent by
your
computer.
The ILFPACK
command
permits
you
to
control the way the PK-96 sends
LF characters
received from
your
computer
while in

packet
mode.

A hexadecimal value used to access the PK-96's
memory and VO locations, or
read values stored
at a specified ADDRESS.
The fO
command
works with the ADDRESS command
(ADDRESS
$aabb)
and
permits
access to
memory and UO locations. Use the lO command
without
arguments
to read an VO
location, and
with one
argument-$O to
$FF-to
write
to an VO
location. The value in ADDRESS
isn't increased
after using the
lO
command.
In ADDRESS
$aabb,
aa
(01-FF)
is
the device address,
and bb is the register
address of the device.
In
ADDRESS
$00bb.
the
lO
command
reads
or
writes data to the device at VO
address bb. There
is no
register set-up before the access. ADDRESS is
used
primarily
as a
programmer's
aid and
isn't needed for
normal
use.

KILONFWD controls the disposition of a message
that has been reverse-forwarded
to the station

is input in HOMEBBS. With KILONFWD ON, the message
is
deleted
automatically
after it has been
forwarded
to
make room for
other
messages in
your
MailDrop.
With KILONFWD OFF,
the message's
sta-
tus
is
changed
from
"F'
to
"Y."
