3. Tap on the STMP Port field and enter the port number (e.g. for gmail server, enter: 465). Tap
Enter.
4. Tap on the Username field and enter the email account you want to send alert messages from
(e.g. for gmail server, enter the gmail account in full). Tap Enter.
5. Tap on the Password field and enter your email password (the password will always remain
hidden). Tap Enter.
The password entered here must be the password for the outgoing email account.
6. Tap on the Email To field and enter the email account you want to receive email alert
messages. Tap Enter.
The incoming email account can be the same as, or dierent from, the outgoing email ac-
count. If a dierent email account is used then the outgoing email account serves as a relay
for the alert messages. Only one incoming email account will be accepted by the G Series
system.
7. Tap OK to save the settings, then tap < to return to the previous screen.
For Gmail
SMTP Server smtp.gmail.com Enter this.
SMTP Port 465 Enter this.
User Name [e-mail] Enter your gmail address in full,
including ‘@gmail.com’.
Password XXXXXXXXXXX Enter the password for this
gmail account.
Email To [e-mail] Enter the email address where
you want the alerts sent.
