Installing a Line Filter or DSL
Filter

preventsservicesthatusethephone
linefromcausinginterferenceonyour
phone.Togetalinefilter,contact
yourserviceproviderorlookinan
electronicsstore.
Plugthefilterintothetelephonewall
jackandplugthebaseintothefilter.
Makeatestcalltomakesurethenoise
isgone.
Liquid Damage
CAUTION: If the base is covered in
liquid, disconnect the adapter &
phone cord from the wall before
touching it.
Iftheliquidisonlyontheexterior
housingofthebaseorhandset,wipeit
offanduseasnormal.Ifyoucanhear
liquidinsidethehousing:
1. Removeallcompartmentcovers,and
disconnectallcablesandcords.
2. Ifliquidisleakingfromanyvent
orhole,turnthephonesothatvent
facesdown.Ifnot,placethelargest
ventfacedown.
3. Letdryforatleast3days.Check
forliquidinsidethephonebefore
replacingcompartmentcovers&
reconnectingcords.
Resetting Handsets
Ifyouhavetroublewithahandsetor
ifyouwanttoreplaceone,clearthe
registrationinformationfromthebase
andthehandset:
1. Press&hold
End
and
#
atthesame
timeuntilyouseethe
System Reset
menu.
2. Ifyoustillhavethebasethehandset
isregisteredto,select
Deregister HS
,
thenselectthehandsetyouwant
toreset.Ifyoudon’thavethatbase
anymore,select
