Connecting to the Phone Line
Make sure that the battery pack is fully charged.
Connect the
telephone
cord to the
TEL LINE jack.
Connect the
telephone cord to a
telephone wall jack.
What if CHECK
TEL LINE
appears on the
handset display?
The telephone
cord may not be
connected
correctly. Check
the telephone
cord connection.
Do you have DSL or any high-speed Internet service
delivered through your phone line?
Try putting a DSL lter between the base and the wall
jack. Without a lter, telephone-line-based Internet
services can interfere with standard phones.
