Metrobility Industrial Ethernet Dual Slot DIN Rail Chassis

The LCRD20-24 is a two-slot, DIN rail chassis, which will accommodate any of Metrobility's wide range of line cards for Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit

Ethernet and BWDM (single strand bi-directional wavelength division multiplexing). Because it is modular, users can choose the line card which best suits

their needs. The LCRD20-24 features an industrial strength enclosure of 20 gauge cold rolled steel (CRS), with a bright zinc chromate finish. The chassis

is convection cooled and there are no rotating/moving mechanical parts, i.e. fans guaranteeing critical system uptime. Additionally, the chassis includes

dual power inputs with screw-down terminal blocks that support 24Vdc power. Includes a manufacturer’s 3-year warranty. (see page 177 for line card info).

GarrettCom Industrial 100Mbps 24VDC Copper to Fiber Media Converters

The Magnum 14EH Series Copper to Fiber Media Converters offer users the ability to convert copper Ethernet ports over to Fiber for high EMI/RFI noise

environments and extended cable distances. The Magnum 14EH series feature a plenum rated, sealed metal case preventing dust and moisture

penetration. The case acts as a heat sink so no internal airflow is required. With a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, these converters are suitable

for most non-controlled environments. The Magnum series converters also feature a Link Pass-Through feature allowing managed switches to "see

through" the media converters for checking downstream cable connections. The converters can be DIN rail mounted with the addition of the optional

bracket kit. AC powered and 48VDC options available upon request. The Magnum 14EH series includes a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.

GarrettCom CS14H Hardened Converter/Switch

Combine a 100Mbps Fiber Media Converter and a two-port 10/100 copper Switch and you have a cutting edge converter switch and flexible Ethernet

connectivity product. Add in fiber port choices for all multimode and singlemode fiber connector types plus AC or DC input power selection and multiple

application environments and you have the Magnum CS14 Converter Switch. The Magnum CS14H Hardened units are for factory floor applications. The

CS14H models are built with high-grade components and are constructed using special thermal techniques (patent pending) and a metal case for heavy-

duty industrial jobs. In addition to a Hardened AC power option and jack, terminals for internal DC power choices at 8 to 15V, 24V or -48V DC are included.

No internal airflow is required for cooling, so the units resist dust, dirt, moisture, smoke and insects. Mounting options include stand-alone panel

mounting, DIN Rail or rackmount tray.

Fiber Optic SC Duplex Interface Switches

The FS5184 and FS5186 fiber optic SC Duplex Interface Switches allow users to connect a workstation or device between up to three other devices or

networks. These switches have a multimode duplex fiber interface and feature internal circuitry ensuring isolation between the devices/networks. A front

panel button changes the switch position which is indicated by the front panel LEDs. The units also include an RS232 serial security enhanced Supervisory

Remote Port. A terminal or computer in terminal mode connected to this port can communicate with the unit, determine its status, change the switch

position as desired and/or lockout front panel switching capability. Access to the Supervisory Remote Port feature is password protected.

Fiber Optic Switches with a Built in Media Converter

The Fiber Optic Switch with Built in Media Converter allows the user the capability of accessing separate fiber optic 100Base-FX ports (up to 8 ports)

from a 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet port (COMMON port). The unit is fully compliant with the 802.3u 100Base-TX/FX standard. The switched ports are

1300nm, SC Duplex Multimode, 100Base-FX fiber optic ports. The COMMON port is a 100Base-TX Fast Ethernet port. The selected fiber optic port will

convert and pass data to and from the 100Base-TX COMMON port. The internal circuitry ensures isolation between devices /networks.A front panel button

changes the switch position. Switch position status is displayed by the front panel LEDs. The unit also includes an RS232 serial security enhanced
