Hirschmann's PROFIBUS, MODBUS and GENIUSBUS media converters are perfect for transmitting data over several miles/kilometers. They connect
terminal devices such as computers, image-processing devices, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and peripheral devices together. With their high
availability and redundancy, they are able to hold their own in the harsh world of industrial applications. Fiber optic cables can be laid directly on high-
power equipment or parallel to power cables, reducing planning and commissioning costs. Each converter in this series can be mounted on a DIN rail and
is powered by an external 24VDC power supply.

Hirschmann Industrial Compact Ethernet Rail Switches
Hirschmann Industrial Compact Switches provide the industrial customer with a cost effective way to add Ethernet connectivity on the factory floor. These
switches auto-negotiate between equipment with 10Mbps or 100Mbps connections. The Hirschmann Industrial line features rugged metal enclosures and
DIN Rail mounting. The switches also feature redundant 24VDC inputs and an open relay contact to facilitate connection to PLCs, allowing reaction to
malfunction or process control alarms. The FX switches feature the extended range of fiber optic cabling via an integrated multimode fiber optic port. The
fiber port can be used to create a fiber optic backbone to a central control room.

The Hirschmann unmanaged Industrial Ethernet Rail Switch is the perfect small form factor solution for your Industrial Ethernet connectivity needs. The
switch features store and forward operation, five RJ45 10/100Base-TX Ethernet (10Mbit/s) and Fast-Ethernet (100Mbit/s) Ports, which support auto-
crossing, auto-negotiation and auto-polarity. The SPIDER5TX uses a 24VDC Power source and is DIN rail mountable.

The Rail Hub RH1-TP is the perfect choice and cost-effective expansion of industrial networks. This unit has four twisted pair ports and can be easily fixed

mounted connection blocks and high short-circuit current, giving the devices a large 'start-up window' meaning the units start reliably even with awkward

The Operator Edition of Hirschmann's HiVision Network Management software enables users to see the status of the network at a single glance. This
intelligent program provides a display of the network with its hierarchical structure and topology for the devices of any given manufacturer. HiVision
enables secure and easy configuration as well as the monitoring of industrial network components in real time. Features include device state, link and
connection state (cable break, utilization), power supply and fan state, ICMP (Ping) and SNMP availability. Protocol support includes HiDiscovery,
ICMP(Ping), SNMPv1, SNMPv2c, SNMPv3. Can be used with Windows 2000 / XP Linux (from kernel 2.2, glibc 2.0).
