11. RADIO CHECK
If you need to monitor all the communication in the channel or check the environment
surrounding around particular radio, you can manually monitor your own or other radio’s current
channel, in order to fully understand if someone’s using the current channel or other team
members’ status.
11.1 RADIO CHECK
When you need to know your team members is inside or out of your signal range, you can use
the Radio Check function. Note that if there is no response, your team members radio could be
turned off, breakdown, or out of range.
11.1.1 To Enter Radio Check
2. Enter Radio Check by main menu
d. In standby mode, press the Menu & Enter button to enter
main menu.
e. Use the 4-way Navigator button to move to
“Radio Check”.
f. Press Menu & Enter button to confirm selection and enter
next menu.
g. The highlight bar will stay at “Radio check”., then Press
Menu & Enter button to confirm selection.
3. Enter Radio Check from Address Book menu
You can also enter Radio Check menu from Address book menu, please read the
related page of Address Book.
11.1.2 To Using Radio Check
1. The highlight bar will stay at Send Radio Check first, you can
do the followings:
a. Send Radio Check: To send a radio check command to a
radio.
b. Radio Check Record: To check the history record of Radio Check.
2. Please use the 4-way Navigator button to move highlight
bar to the option you want to use.
