7. CALL ALERT
If you called someone without response, you can leave a call alert to the receiver, which can
remind the receiver to call back to you
7.1 SENDING A CALL ALERT
7.1.1 To Start To Send A Call Alert
There are two ways to initiate a call alert.
1. Enter Call Alert by Main Menu
a. In standby mode, press the Menu & Enter button to enter main menu.
b. Use the 4-way Navigator button to move to “Call alert” function.
c. Press Menu & Enter button to confirm selection and enter next menu.
2. Select Call Alert option from Address Book
7.1.2 Select A Contact To Send A Call Alert
1. In Call Alert menu, the highlight bar will stay at “Send Call Alert”,
please press Left soft key “Select” to enter next menu.
2. Use the 4-way Navigator button ▲▼ to move to the contact
person you want to send.
3. Press Left soft button “Send” to send a call alert.
4. The radio will show a prompt page to notify you the
transmissions successful or not.
7.2 RECEIVING A CALL ALERT
7.2.1 Receiving A Call Alert
1. While receiving a call alert, the radio will alert you, you may
following options to respond:
a. Press and hold PTT button hard on the left side of the
radio to talk back to Call Alert sender.
b. Press left soft button “Close” to end the alert prompt page.
