5. CALL ALERT
If there was no response to voice call, users
can leave a “Call Alert” notice for the receiver.
This reminds the receiver to call back.
5.2.1
Receivinga Call Alert
1. When receiving a Call Alert, the radio alerts,
users may use the following options to
respond:
a. Press and hold the PTT Button to
talk respond to the Call Alert
sender.
b. Press the Back Button to end the alert prompt
page.

SENDING A CALL ALERT
5.1.1
To Set a Call Alert
There are two ways to initiate a call alert.
1. Enter the Call Alert menu from the Main
Menu
d. In standby mode, press the Menu Button
to enter to the Main Menu.
e. Use the 4-Way Navigation Button ▲▼
to navigate to the “Call Alert” icon.
f. Press theEnter Button to enter the Call
Alert menu.
2. Press the Right Soft Button to select the
“Call alert” from the Contacts.

Selecta Contact to Send a Call Alert
1. From the Call Alert menu, the highlight bar
stays at “Send Call Alert”.
Press theEnter Button to enter to next menu.
2. Use the 4-Way Navigation button ▲▼ to
move to the contact person to send the call
alert.
3. Press the Left Soft Button “Send” to send
a Call Alert.
4. The radio displays a message stating the
transmission result.
