Product Overview
TheU nication NP88FLEX pagers are miniature, microcomputer-controlled
FMreceiversthatoperateinthehigh-band 900MHzrange
(929-932 MHz). Each pager has a 12-digit numeric display and is powered by a
single AAA-size battery.
These pagers use FLEX paging format. Refer to the appli-
cable Receiver section in this manual for information about which format is used
with each frequency range.
Product Names

Product names are subject to change without notice. Some product names, as well
as some frequency bands, are available only in certain markets.
Display
Product NP 88 FLEX feature a numeric backlighted LCD which can receive
and display messages of up to 20 characters in length.
Housing
The pager is housed in an impact-resistant plastic case that offers excellent
protection against dust intrusion, vibration, and shock. Small in size and light-
weight, the unit is designed to be clipped to your belt or fit comfortably in a shirt
or jacket pocket.
Features
These pagers use the most advanced, self-contained, sealed, custom-integrated
circuits to perform the complex functions required FLEX paging.
In addition to the space and
weight advantage, microcircuits enhance basic pager reliability, simplify mainte-
nance, and provide a wide variety of operational functions.
