Infinite mode

Press soft function keys Type → Infinite successively on the interface for starting pulse

function to enter infinite mode. In mode of infinite pulse train, burst period (period of pulse

train) and recurring number will be automatically hidden in parameter list. Infinite pulse

train amounts to infinite cycle index of waveform. The signal generator outputs continuous

waveform when receiving trigger signal. The trigger source of pulse train can be internal,

external or manual in this mode. To change it, you can use multi-functional knob and direction

key on the interface for selecting type of pulse train (as shown in the figure below) or press

soft function key Param → Source

c) Phase of Burst

Phase of pulse train is phase at starting point of pulse train. It is in the range of 0°~+360°.

The default initial phase is 0°. To change it, you can use multi-functional knob and direction

key on the interface for selecting type of pulse train or press soft function key

Param → Phase .

For sine wave, square wave, ramp wave and pulse wave, 0° is the point at which the

waveform passes 0V (or DC offset value) in forward direction.

For arbitrary waveform, 0° is the first waveform point downloaded to the storage.

Initial phase has no effect on the noise wave.
