1. General Description
1.1 Applications
The UT-3000 is dedicated for automatic measurement of mercury concentrations in air and other
gaseous samples.
The mercury Ultratracer provides a compact and reliable tool for automatic measuring of
Total Gaseous Mercury (TGM) in air at ultratrace levels. Utilising the high performance
GoldTrap amalgamation module and the optimised state-of-the-art Atomic Absorption
detector detection limits at sub-ng/m³ levels are achieved.
The instrument operates automatically, all functions are controlled by an embedded
microprocessor. Once the analysis has been started, measurements are performed
automatically and data are collected by the built-in data logger. The capacity of the data
logger is up to 100 days.
The UT-3000 is used in following applications:
Air quality studies
Monitoring of indoor air pollution
Environmental pollution source tracking
plume profiling
Studies of mercury dispersion in the atmosphere
Studies of interaction between atmosphere and surfaces
Pollution prevention
Natural gas and derivatives (observe special hazardous zone requirements)
Hydrogen and other gases (observe special hazardous zone requirements)
Soil and ground degassing studies
