2.4.2 Connection of an Automatic Calibration Unit


 If an Automatic Calibration Unit is installed together with the UT-3000, both
instruments have to be connected before starting operation.
a) Use the connecting cable which has two 4-pin round plugs and plug it into the sockets on
the rear side of the instruments marked “Temperature” and “PT100”.
b) Take the cable with the 9-pin DSUB plugs. Identify the plug labelled “UT-3000” and
connect it to the RS232 socket on the rear side of the UT-3000. Identify the plug labelled
“Calibration unit” and connect it to the RS232 socket on the rear side of the Automatic
Calibration Unit.
