Getting to Know the Trigger System
Trigger controls are shown in the figure below. The following steps will get you familiar
with trigger setups.

1. Use the trigger level knob to change the trigger level. The trigger level line on the
screen will move up and down with the knob. While you move the trigger level, you
will find the trigger level value at the bottom of the screen changing accordingly.
2. Open the [TRIGGER MENU] (see Figure 1-12) to change trigger setups. General
setups are as follows :
Press [F1] twice to select the edge as [TRIGGER TYPE].
Press [F2] to select CH1 as [TRIGGER SOURCE] (Select with the multifunction
control knob then press [SELECT] to confirm).
Press [F3] then [F1] to set [TRIGGER COUPLING] as DC.
Press [F4] then [F1] to set [TRIGGER MODE] as AUTO.
Press [F5] to set [EDGE TYPE] as RISING.
