How to use the 2.1 accessory for carpets
Thesidenozzlesenableoptimalvacuumfunctionatalltimesandforalluses,evenon
walls and in corners. Vacuum or steam cleaning are both possible (or these functions
combined, only on small surface areas that are not excessively soiled). Do not use on
particularly delicate ooring such as parquet, to prevent scratching.Alternatively, the
accessory may be used with a cloth attached to the 4 clips. Dry with steam and, lastly,
vacuum.
Cleansmallareasoneaftertheother.Uselow-intensitysteamrsttoloosenthedirtand
trapitontheclothandthenquicklyvacuum,foraclean,drysurface.Rinsetheclothand
continue.
How to use the 2.2 accessory for liquids
Thisaccessoryisveryusefulforquick,safe,effectivecleaningofspillageorpuddleson
theoor.Whenvacuuminglargequantitiesofliquids,makesuretheoatisalwayspro-
truding.Thisaccessorycanalsobeusedontilesandonnon-delicateooring.Firstly,on
aportionoftheooring,dispensethesteamatthehighestsetting,thenvacuum.Unless
working on small hardly soiled surfaces, do not use the steam while vacuuming, since
most of the heat would be taken up before penetrating the dirt or killing microorganisms.

• Parquet and other delicate oors
To prevent damage, dispense the steam only at the lowest setting when cleaning par-
quetooring.
Cleanasmallportionoftheparquetoortoseehowitreacts.Donotplacethebrush
directly on the wooden surface. It must be held at a certain distance.
There are many parquet oor types. Each parquet oor reacts according to its own
characteristics.Ifthereappearstobenoincompatibilitybetweentheparquetanduseof
steam,proceedslowlyandcarefullywiththebrushwhilegraduallyincreasingthequan-
tityofsteam.Rememberthatadverseeffectsonparquetoorsmay
notappearimme-
diately.Incasesofverytoughdirt,applysteamtotheportionontheoorinquestionto
loosen the dirt, with the heat and damp, until the dirt can be readily removed. Wait until
the dirt has loosened before removing it. After this procedure, the dirt can be readily
vacuumed by tilting the brush back in a parallel position.
Please note - Parquet and other delicate oors
Whencleaningparquet,carefullyapplylowintensitysteamonsmallsurfaceareas.Then
vacuumasonewouldwhencleaningawindow.Idealforslightlysoiledooring.
Do not apply the rear bristles to delicate surfaces.

3.3 Small round brush
This accessory can be used alone or combined, in the upper part, with the small round
brush(3.3)(placeitonthenozzleandpressuntilitisrmlyattached),fordegreasing,or
withaspiratornozzles,forvacuuminggreaseordust(vacuummode).Usenarrownozzle
(3.1)foraspecicarea,andbroadnozzle(3.2)forbroaderareas.
Particularly useful for cleaning and degreasing:
• spaces between tiles
• ovens and cookers (interior and exterior cleaning)
•steelorglazedsinks/washbasins
• washbasins, bidets, toilets, showers, bathtubs
• taps and connections (to remove limescaling)
Idealforalldifcultcleaningtasks.Brushtheareatobedegreasedwiththesteam.
Turnoffthesteamfunctionandproceedwiththevacuumfunction,withnozzle.
Usesteamtodustdownradiators.Vacuumthedustthatfallstotheoor.
Fordoorandwindowxtures,attachaclothtotheedgeofthexture,tilttheDress-t
accessory and enable steam function so that the cloth gathers up the dirt. When cleaning
toilets, remove the limescaling by applying the steam to where the water is discharged.
If necessary, use the small round brush.
