PREPARATION Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with lists. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated Assembly Time: 45 minutes Tools Required for Assembly: Phillips screwdriver and crescent or 9/16 in. wrench. ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Fig. 1 1. Lay seat (A) on the shipping box during assembly to protect it. Attach posts (D) to (A) using eye bolts (AA), washers (HH) and nuts (BB). Hand tighten only.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Fig. 4 4. Place (FF) in holes in arms to cover the screws. FF Fig. 5 5. Stand up back (B) and align back post (E) and insert bolt (CC). Note that (B) is marked “up” and “down”. Be sure the hole pockets are facing outward so (CC) can be threaded below the surface and covered with large buttons (II). Thread (CC) in with wrench (DD). Complete for both bolts and both sides. After all bolts are inserted, place (II) in holes and tap in with a hammer. CC B DD E Fig. 6 6.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS Fig. 8 8. Place chain (GG) through holes in (C) and attach to (AA). Complete this for both sides. Go back to all four (BB) and tighten with (DD). GG C AA Fig. 9 9. Locate a ceiling beam that is solid and sturdy enough to handle the load of the porch swing and the occupants. Drill 2 vertical 5/32 inch pilot holes in the center of ceiling beam 50 inches apart. Insert ceiling hooks and screw into the holes until no threads are exposed.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE 3. If the product is painted it can be painted directly over the sanded varnish with any high-quality exterior paint. Allow to dry. If the product is stained continue with the next step. 4. Apply a coat of polyurethane. Allow to dry. 5. Using a very fine grade of steel wool, rub down the finish. Wipe with a dry cloth. 6. Apply a second coat of polyurethane. After this dries, the furniture should look like new with a clear, glass-like finish.

PRÉPARATION Avant de commencer l’assemblage du produit, assurez-vous d’avoir toutes les pièces. Comparez les pièces avec la listes. S’il y a des pièces manquantes ou endommagées, ne tentez pas d’assembler le produit. Étendez le siège (A) sur la boîte d’emballage pendant l’assemblage pour le protéger.

Relevez le dossier de la balançoire (B) et alignez le support arrière (E), puis insérez le boulon (CC) du dossier. Notez que le dossier de la balançoire (B) est marqué 《 up 》(haut) et 《 down 》(bas). Assurez-vous que les cavités sont positionnées vers l’extérieur pour que le boulon (CC) puisse être inséré sous la surface et couvert par les grands boutons (II).
INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’ASSEMBLAGE (SUITE) Fig. 8 8. Placez la chaîne (GG) dans les trous des accoudoirs (C) et fixez-la aux boulons à œil (AA). Répétez cette étape de chaque côté. Serrez les quatre écrous (BB) avec la clé. GG C AA Fig. 9 9. Repérez une poutre de plafond qui soit suffisamment solide et robuste pour supporter la charge de la balançoire de porche et ses occupants. Percez deux avant-trous verticaux de 5/32 po qu centre de la poutre du plafond à une distance de 50 po l’un de l’autre.
ENTRETIEN 2. Essuyez le meuble avec un chiffon propre, trempé de diluant à peinture-laque. Vous enlèverez toute accumulation et sciure provenant du ponçage. 3. Si le produit est peint,vous pouvez peinturer directement sur le vernis sablé avec toute peinture d’extérieur de grande qualité. Laissez sécher. Si le produit est teint, passez à la prochaine étape. 4. Appliquez une couche de polyuréthanne. Laissez sécher. 5. Utilisez de la laine d’acier très fine pour frotter le fini.

PREPARACIÓN Antes de comenzar a ensamblar el producto, asegúrese de tener todas las piezas. Compare las piezas con la lista del contenido del paquete y el diagrama anterior. No intente ensamblar el producto si falta alguna pieza o si éstas están dañadas. Póngase en contacto con el Departamento de Servicio al Cliente para obtener piezas de repuesto. Levante el respaldo del columpio (B), alinee el poste posterior (E) e inserte el perno para el respaldo (CC). Observe que las secciones "arriba" y "abajo" están marcadas en el respaldo del columpio (B). Asegúrese que las cavidades queden orientadas hacia fuera de manera que el perno para el respaldo (CC) pueda enroscarse debajo de la superficie y cubrirse con los botones grandes (II).
INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE (CONT.) Fig. 8 8. Coloque la cadena del columpio (GG) a través de los orificios en (C) fíjela a (AA). Realice esta operación para ambos lados. Apriete con una llave las cuatro tuercas (BB) que había apretado con la mano. GG C 9. Ubique una viga de techo lo suficientemente sólida y firme para soportar la carga del columpio para porche y de sus ocupantes. Perfore 2 orificios guía verticales de 5/32" en el centro de la viga de techo a 50" de distancia entre sí.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO NUEVA APLICACIÓN DE ACABADO 1. Lije suavemente el producto con papel de lija de grano fino de 220. Raspe el acabado antiguo y empareje cualquier área irregular. 2. Limpie el mueble con un paño limpio empapado con disolvente de laca. Esto eliminará cualquier acumulación y eserrín que quede después del lijado. 3. Si el producto es pintato, se puede pintar directamente sobre el barniz lijado con cualquier pintura para exteriores de alta calidad. Deje secar.
